For 1997’s Breakdown, Russell had to be home with his kids every night, and the production made sure he was. The reason for Russell’s insistence is heartwarming.  Paramount released a new Blu-ray edition of Breakdown on Sept. 21. It includes the new bonus feature “Filmmaker Focus” in which writer/director Jonathan Mostow discusses the making of the movie.

I recently travelled to Poland with British media to meet some people who had set up medical facilities at refugee centres for those fleeing the war in Ukraine, and to talk to healthcare workers about what they were seeing and the challenges they face. After working for the National Health Service (NHS) for almost 20 years and having volunteered as a medic in Africa in the past, I felt I was in good stead to report on the challenges faced by those serving the medical needs of refugees.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has unveiled his first 'Pele' stadium in Rwanda - and even got to play a match against the country's president. Infantino previously revealed that FIFA would ask every country in the world to name a stadium after the legendary Brazilian footballer. He revealed the bizarre request after Pele died at the age of 82 back on December 29 last year.  The Pele Stadium was officially opened by Rwanda president Paul Pagame and Infantino in honour of the Brazilian icon on Wednesday.
